RUDRAKSHAS: POWER UNLIMITED

INTRODUCTION

The dried fruit of the Rudraksha tree is called a Rudraksha. Rudraksha trees are generally found in the Himalayan region, notably Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, parts of Garwhal and Assam. They are also found in Java.

Rudrakshas are of 38 types and are available in 21 “faces.” The different faces of a Rudraksha represent different powers and associations and yield different benefits. The three-faced Rudraksha, for example, represents Agni (fire) and is used for avoiding bad luck and for acquiring wealth and education. Indira Gandhi used to wear a mala (rosary) of 108 one-faced Rudrakshas and it is commonly believed that these one-faced Rudrakshas brought her immense power.
